We made it through to now, alive, which is certainly something to celebrate! Life, as Gill's come to know it, is a wondrous, fragile, unpredictable plethora; a culmination of hours, days, months and years where, if we are fortunate, we get to bask in the wisdom from our vast experiences. In facing death she has a new appreciation for what it means to have a life, to see potential in challenging times, to see beauty when the outlook may seem bleak. 'Still Alive' is her response to finding a way through the hardships, to standing tall when you literally don't have a leg to stand on! An hour of combined oratory, music and art to create a show that will take you through all the emotions - laugh (hysterically) cry (because you can) and even sing along to the array of timeless jazz standards
